Stewardship Commission
Stewardship is a call to discipleship, a call to conversion of every baptized person. Stewardship is rooted in an understanding of who we are in relationship with God. All that we are and all that we have by way of time on this earth and talent and material resources are gifts from God. We are only stewards of these gifts. The mission and purpose of the Stewardship Commission is to create a Stewardship Parish through ongoing formation that will lead the people to a true conversion—to discipleship. The Commission collaborates with the other Commissions whenever possible in implementing programs.

Crown Ministries Biblical Financial Study God has a plan to help you overcome your financial struggles. Crown Ministries has practical, biblically based solutions for managing your personal finances. The Crown Biblical Financial Study is a 10 week course that teaches more than practical financial principles—it teaches the successful combination of God’s wisdom along with practical principles. This teaching strategy treats more than the practical symptoms of financial bondage—it creates a long-term transformation of the heart. This is the most effective way to find biblically based answers to one’s financial questions and difficulties. Crown’s most recent church survey reveals that typical life group members increase their giving, reduce their debt, increase their savings, and strengthen their marriages during and after the life group experience. What participants will experience during this study – - What Scripture teaches about managing all of your possessions—not just money.
- Develop lifelong relationships with other Christians who participate in the course.
- Key Scripture verses to learn each week.
- Learn a biblical approach to creating a spending plan, establishing a debt reduction plan, and managing your resources through practical exercises and accountability.
- And more!

Total Stewardship Parish Disciples who live a life of Stewardship commit to furthering the word and work of Christ by caring for each other and God's entire creation. In gratitude, they joyfully return a portion of their God-given gifts of Time, Talent, and Treasure. A parish that is Alive! is easily recognized by its vitality and spirit demonstrated by the extent of its parishioners involvement, the quality of its prayer life, the breadth of its services and ministries, and the intensity of its hospitality. Parishioners know they belong. They know that it's their parish. Visitors feel immediately welcome. Total Stewardship parishioners recognize God as the Source and owner of everything. We are merely the stewards of whom God's possessions have been entrusted. God's trust in us is accompanied by a responsibility to be accountable for the gifts we have received. We exercise our responsibility and demonstrate our accountability by furthering Christ's work and taking good care of all God's creation. Finally, in gratitude for God's great trust and generosity, we joyfully return a portion of the blessings entrusted to our care as contribution to building God's kingdom on earth. |
