The Spirituality Commission
Our mission is to assist community members in enhancing their relationship with God, however that may be, by providing opportunities for spiritual growth in our ordinary, daily life outside of weekend liturgies.
What is our Commission all about?
The Spirituality Commission sponsors a number of activities throughout the year to help community members become closer to God. Some of the activities have included weekly reflections during Advent, Lent and Easter; Stations of the Cross and Tenebrae Service; the Women of the Bible presentation; Bible Study sessions and more.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry makes shawls that are knitted, crocheted or made of fleece. They are given to people who are ill, struggling with a difficult issue in their life, at a time of loss etc. As shawls are made, prayers are said for the person who will receive the shawl. Giving a shawl is a tangible reminder of God's love and the support of our community.
If you would like to read more about prayer shawl ministries go to shawlministry.com. If you would like to be part of the ministry call Bobbie Mentzel at 462-4251 or e mail klmentzel@verizon.net. Please leave your name and phone number and designate if you prefer to meet daytime or evening.

Ministry of Care
Visits and/or phone calls are made to community members who are homebound, in nursing homes, or are hospitalized. By delivering a weekly bulletin and spending some time with community members who are homebound they realize that their faith community is praying with them and for them.
Women's Spirituality Breakfast
Women of our faith community meet one Saturday morning every other month to share food & fellowship and hear a presentation designed to enhance spiritual development and grow closer to God. You can serve on a committee to secure speakers or assist with food preparation.
Men's Fellowship Breakfast
Men meet bi-monthly Saturdays in Café Manna. Share your faith, help cook, set up and clean up.
